Bahrain starts pre-registration for voluntary monkeypox inoculation

(MENAFN) The Ministry of Health in Bahrain has claimed that pre-registration for the voluntary monkeypox inoculation is now accessible.

The Kingdom has secured a limited number of inoculations which will be sent to priority groups in accordance with the set health protocols, as well as frontline health staffs and those at high risk of contact.

Upcoming deliveries will be administered to inhabitants and residents, who wish to receive the inoculation. The shots will be given free of charge, the ministry announced.

The inoculation provision is part of the nation's plan to protect the needed medical and logistical resources to stop the spread of the virus.

Citizens and residents can go to the website (healthalert.gov.bh) and register or by contacting the 24/7 hotline 444, as per BNA.
