Specialists from UAE to arrive in Kyrgyzstan to implement joint energy projects

Bishkek, Sept. 11, 2017. /Kabar/. The Arab company Masdar is interested in implementing projects in the Kyrgyz Republic on renewable energy sources.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that, the Kyrgyz Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Chynyz Eshimbekov held a meeting with executive director of Masdar Mohamed Zhamil Al Ramakhi.

During the meeting, Eshimbekov presented detailed information on the energy potential of the Kyrgyz Republic to the company's representatives. The sides discussed the prospects for establishing and developing cooperation on the implementation of projects in the field of renewable energy sources. In this regard Mohamed Zhamil Al Ramakhi and Masdar experts were invited to Kyrgyzstan to study the possibility of establishing cooperation.

In turn, the representatives of the energy company invited the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week in January 2018. The event brings together 30,000 participants of the energy market from around the world and includes representatives of government agencies, large businessmen, investors and leading experts.

Within the framework of the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week, an exhibition "Energy Summit of the Future" will take place, at which the latest developments in the field of alternative energy sources be provided.
